This is probably the answer. Check by going into your BIOS where you can normally set how much of the system memory is shared with the graphics card.
You get into the BIOS when you restart your computer, some of the first words that come up on the screen tell you to press ESC or DEL or F1 or w/e to get into the BIOS. Make sure you know what you're doing because you might switch off your hard drive or other hardware and then panic.
